How do I place a hold on an item?

You can place a hold on any book or media item through the online catalog or with a library staff member!

To place a hold online :

Start by using the online catalog to find the book or DVD you are looking for!
Place a hold using the "Place Hold" button on the right side of the item record.
You will be prompted to log into your Library Account.* Log in using your C Number/Friends ID and pin.
Select your Pickup Library Location.
Place your hold!

To change or view your hold:

Select "My Library Account" at the top of the page (you may be prompted to log in!).
Select the "Holds" tab.
Click on the hold you would like to edit, and select an option!

*Your Library Account and MyCochise Account are different. Your Library Account gives your access to library catalog features, while MyCochise give you access the digital library. For information on the online library, click here.
