All textbooks can be purchased or rented through the Cochise College Bookstore. The Douglas Campus Library is a Bookstore Pick-Up and Drop-Off location only. The Bookstore and the Library work together to get textbooks to students, but they are different departments.

How do I order a textbook?

There are two ways you can order textbooks!
 

1. Visit the Cochise College Campus Store on the Sierra Vista Campus and order your textbook in person.

The Campus Store on the Sierra Vista Campus is currently in the Sierra Vista Library Building (900) in room 901. Their regular semester hours are:

Monday          9am-4pm
Tuesday         9am-4pm
Wednesday    9am-4pm
Thursday        9am-4pm
Friday             10am-3pm
Sat-Sun          Closed

Before visiting, be sure to check their hours online or by calling 520-515-5419!

2. Go to the Bookstore website and order your textbook online.

To order your textbooks online:

1. Go to the Cochise College Bookstore Website: https://www.bkstr.com/cochisestore/home 
2. Click on the "Textbooks" link on the top, middle left side.
   
   
    
3. Set your semester term.
4. Enter your course information, including department, course, and section.
   
   
    
5. Add books to bag and check out! You can choose to pick up your books on the Sierra Vista or Douglas Campus, or have them mailed to you.

Where do I pick up my textbooks?

You can choose to pick up your textbooks on the Sierra Vista or Douglas Campus.

For Sierra Vista Textbook Pick Ups:

• Textbooks can be picked up at the Campus Store, located in the Sierra Vista Library Building (900) in room 901.
• You will receive an email from cochise@bkstr.com when your textbooks are ready for pick up.

For Douglas Textbook Pick Ups:

• Textbooks can be picked up at the Douglas Campus Library (building 300).
• Douglas Campus orders must wait for an email from library@cochise.edu to pick up your books!
  • The bookstore will send you an email that your book has arrived at the Sierra Vista Campus, not the Douglas Campus! It take 1-2 days for your books to be sent to the Douglas Campus. Once they arrive, the library will send you an email that your textbooks are ready for pickup.
• Be sure to bring your Cochise College Student I.D. or another form of photo I.D.

The Bookstore can answer any questions or concerns regarding textbooks and eBook access codes! To contact the Bookstore you can:

Cochise College Library staff can help direct you to the Bookstore or answer basic textbook questions.

How do I return textbooks? Can I sell them back?

If you rented a textbook, you can return it where you picked it up!

Sierra Vista Campus Rental Returns

• Textbooks can be returned to the Campus Store in the Student Union Building (building 1000).

Douglas Campus Rental Returns

• Textbooks can be dropped off at the Douglas Campus Library (building 300).
• Books returned to the Douglas Campus will be sent to the Bookstore in 1-2 days. To verify your textbook has been received by the Library, you may be asked for a signature or for your Student I.D. number.

Shipping Option for Rental Returns

• If you had your textbook shipped to your address, you can ship your textbook back to the Bookstore. Note: shipping is at the student's expense.

Students that purchased their textbooks have the option to sell their books back to the Bookstore!

In-Store

• Textbooks can only be sold back to the Bookstore on the Sierra Vista Campus! Students must visit the Campus Store in the Student Union Building.

Online

• To sell your textbook online:
  1.  Visit https://www.bkstr.com/cochisestore/sell-textbooks
  2. Click the "Sell Your Textbooks" button under the Online section!
     
     

Does the library have any textbooks I can borrow?

Some textbooks may be available for checkout at the library. Textbooks in the library are usually on the Reserve shelf, but some may be in the circulating collection. You can search for library textbooks by using the Library Catalog or by asking library staff members at the front desk!

Library Textbook Quick Facts

• Most textbooks on the Reserve shelf can be checked out for two hours and must be used in the library. 
• There are a few textbooks that can be checked out for 1-2 days and can be used outside of the library.
• The library is unable to provide access to every textbook for every class.
